Embassy Staff Brief University Students on Zambia's Role in The African Union

Several Universities in the United States, Canada and Korea participated in the 15th annual National Model African Union Conference, at Howard University, Washington, DC from 23 to 26th February 2017. The Model provided an opportunity to study Africa and African Union by briefings at African embassies. The Berea College University chose to represent Zambia as the Model, and the Students in the above pictures, came to the embassy for a briefing on Zambia's role in the AU, functions and activities of the African Union as well as Major economic, political and security issues in Africa. The presentation was made by Mr. James Chisenga, the Counselor (Economic), and Mrs Charity Z. Mkandawire First Secretary (Trade).
